Day 1: Welcome & What To Expect

Welcome to your 2-week course in pop vocals! The exercises and songs we use in this course should be comfortable for Baritones and Tenors. This course is beginner-friendly, but does assume that you’re matching pitch, easily accessing your chest voice and head voice, and developing your mix. You’ll get the most out of the course once you’ve completed at least week 1 of my level 2 beginner course.

Let’s begin with a quick general warmup. I encourage you to download and use this warmup before you watch a new lesson!

Exercise 1: Hiss 4 times then 1 long, then  Hah x3

Exercise 2:Chest voice Hey There 3-1

Exercise 3: Full-range SOVT on ZZ 15851

Exercise 4: Chest to head AH-oo-yeah 18-531 (E)
