tongue position

    Hi Camille,

    I've heard that the back of the tongue should be high a lot. Except when we do the "kana" exercise shown in, "Ep. 55 Jaw/Tongue: The Great Divorce - Voice Lessons To The World", Justin almost seems like he is lowering the back of the tongue. When we are making certain sounds, why does the back of the tongue drop and what should we do?

    The height of your tongue will naturally change based on the vowel you sing! If you want to change your tongue height for a different tone, try higher for a brighter sound and lower for a darker sound.
