Hi Team-I can reach high notes in a Mickey Mouse tone of voice but it sounds fake and cartoony. I want to strengthen my head and mixed voice to give it more power and warm resonant tone. I suspect a high larynx and strained neck muscles may play a part in it. Can you direct me to the right videos or give more info on this? Specially/I'm trying to sing 'you make me feel like a natural Woman' and the first notes in the chorus are super problematic. I'm trying to belt in mixed voice I think. I need to reduce strained sound.

Hey, Liza! I'd practice that on a dopey (lower larynx) BUHB for the time being. The "OO" vowel on the word "you" also might be problematic - I'd modify that a bit closer to YUH.

My pleasure, Liza. Skillful vowel modification is so important in maintaining consistently beautiful tone and acoustic balance throughout your different registers!
