Hello Camille,
So I came across the video David Phelps Vocal Analysis - Ep. 3 Voice Lessons Online. Now I understood most of the things in this video except for what happened in the embouchure section. I Now what Kristy Bissel said was that David Phelps was singing a C5 mix belt note. Now I'm pretty sure this is high for a mix belt and I'm suprised that David Phelps decided to use a wide embouchure for the note.
Note that I understand the two other points in this section.
Thanks in advance and have a good day!

Hi, Aaron! Some singers can get away with a wider embouchure. You're right that it's a bit more "risky" to go wide on a pitch that high - but it's possible! If the singer has trained to not over-squeeze and the larynx isn't jumping up too high, that wide mouth position can give a nice "energy boost" to the sound. You can experiment by singing a comfortably high pitch on an UH vowel and then widening the mouth, a little at a time.
