Hey Camille, I have a suggestion. Can you do a tutorial on how to make a original song?
Please and thank you.
Also what are some foods and/or drinks that will help or damage your voice?
(P.S you have an amazing voice! WOW!)

Thanks for the suggestion, Hosanna! And the compliment! We did a live lesson on songwriting a few weeks ago, but we're definitely planning to do a full tutorial on songwriting (once we're cleared to get back in the studio).
Food doesn't actually touch your vocal folds (since your larynx is above your trachea, not your esophagus). But certain foods can increase mucus production, which can affect your singing. If you notice that dairy, sugar, or spicy foods cause you to have more mucus in your throat, avoid those foods before singing. The most important thing (for singers) is to stay hydrated! Drink lots of water. You can also drink warm tea with honey (a singer favorite). And pay attention to the way food or drink affects you. Coffee, for example, can be drying. Alcohol can lead to swelling. In moderation, you probably won't notice a big difference in your voice. But take extra care to stay hydrated and avoid those foods/drinks before you sing if they affect you adversely (and especially if you have a performance or recording coming up).
