Can I write amazing songs with ukulele?

Hello! Now, I'm thinking about learning an instrument.

But to buy a guitar, I can't afford for now. So, I would like to learn ukulele. Also, I want to practice songwriting (especially pop songs).

Is it possible to create wonderful songs based on ukulele?

And can you please tell me,

is learning ukulele worth it?

I say go for it! I'm a big fan of the ukulele (though I'm biased, since I play uke). It's great because it's less expensive, more portable, and easier to learn (4 nylon strings, less calluses needed). Learning any instrument to accompany yourself is completely worth it, in my opinion.
