Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the right section, but I started the Beginner Course with Jonathan yesterday and was wondering if I could get some critique. I was told by friends that I need to loosen up and not to try so hard. This was the first time I've ever been able to feel my diaphram constantly while singing and like I said before i'm only on day 2.

Just don't take it personally (or serious) when someone says you are bad at something. You are only 12 years old, that is young. You have plently of time to practice singing to become better. And I bet, if you practice enough you will be good enough to make your brothers stop saying you are bad at singing.

Hey, Jason! It would be neat to post a "progress" video once you're done with the course, too. If you'd like feedback from an instructor, you're always welcome to book a live private lesson - https://www.30daysinger.com/live-lesson.

Jason go easy on yourself. Take your time your new. One tip, Lip trill is one of the greatest exercise to
to untilize for exercise. It teaches the vocal chords and diphram how to interact with each other while
putting almost no stress on your vocal chords. Go through 30 day tutorial. If you need extra help since your brand new it would be recommended to get a pair of trained ears from 30daysinger to give you feedback. Privates are good when you are brand brand new.
