Hi James,
In order to imitate different pitches and vocal tones, that would be really difficult since everyone has a different voice and range. I do suggest you learn about how to best train your own voice using the lessons you pointed to above.
What type of instruction were you looking for?

Singing lesson videos assume that you can match pitch - but it's true that a very small percentage of the population is "tone deaf". You can take a free online test here: http://tonedeaftest.com/.
While the best "judge" of whether or not you are correctly matching pitch is a skilled teacher, you can use apps to provide feedback in real-time (by analyzing your pitch via your phone's microphone). Check out my colleague Amy Noltee's video on using free tuning apps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7p2gMwsPjwOther recommendations include the app SingTrue https://www.musical-u.com/apps/singtrue/ and Theta music teacher https://trainer.thetamusic.com/en/content/singing-games.Best of luck! And feel free to book a lesson if you'd like feedback from a teacher.Camille -

Hi, James!
Yes, it is necessary to match pitch. How'd you do with the "tone deaf" test?
