Hi Camille!❤️
If you remember i've mentioned that i never sing in front of people especially in music class. A couple of days ago i messaged my teacher if i can come after class to maybe sing and get over my fear. He said i could come thursday or friday and he is very suportive and said everything was going to be okay! I dont know how to prepare and Im not planning to sing a specific song. Any tips on how to get less nervous? It seems i am not afraid of the people hearing me or that i have stage fright but i am more afraid of my own voice (i dont know how or why)
Looking forward to your reply! ❤️❤️

I encourage you to sing in spite of your nerves. It's okay to be nervous! Singing through those nerves will be a great step for you. I'm reminded of this quote - "bravery is the absence of fear; courage is acting in spite of your fear". And as singers, we might be nervous, but we can exercise our courage during those times!
I do think it'll help you feel more confident if you have a specific song to sing; that way, you can prepare by practicing that song, and you won't have to decide what to sing in the moment.
