Hi Camille!
I hope you and your loved ones are safe! I had a question regarding head vs. chest voice.. I like the way I sound both ways, but which one is my signature style, or my singing voice?
For example for the Moana song "How Far I'll Go" only my head voice sounds good
For The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony" I LOVE my chest voice, since its so unique (Im a girl with a deep voice)
For Adele's "Rolling in the Deep", i think both my voices sound fine and its a matter of preference
How do I know which voices to use, and when? And again, which one is my "singing" voice?
Thanks so much, hope to hear from you soon :)

Hi, Gulnar!
Both registers make up your singing voice - you'll use chest voice for lower pitches within your range and head voice for higher pitches. Which register to use within a specific song will depend on how high or low the melody is and what kind of tone you're going for.
Many songs will require you to use chest and head voice, because of the range of pitches within the melody. Male singers use less head voice, over all, because their voices naturally have a wider chest voice range. Female singers are required to use both registers almost all of the time!
Hope that helps! I encourage you to exercise and use your full range, and decide which register to use more of on a song-by-song basis (depending on the range and tone you want).
