Matching pitch in song

I'm normally pretty good with matching pitch in exercises except sometimes when it comes to song, I feel like the back-track instruments make me go astray. How can I fix this? Thanks and have a good day!

I recommend first searching for an instrumental version of the song (not "karaoke") so that an instrument (usually piano or violin) is playing the melody. That way, you have an intermediate step towards no melody in the track!
