High notes tone

Hello everyone,

My question is which is better in high notes the lifted soft palate dark sound when singing the high notes or the ng sound in the word "sing" for high notes when you are practicing with vowels like "ah" or "ee".  So pretty much nasal sound or lifted soft palate sound in high notes when you are practicing with vowels?
