Hi, I'm into my second week. I find I strain more when trying to practice HV and F. I can sing higher (and deeper) frommy chest voice and up but I find going 'breathy' or sounding like Mickey Mouse difficult/a bit painful. My higher voice sounds more like chest voice but higher - Im not sure if that makes sense. But it feels more comfortable or 'natural' for me and I don't get a sore throat. Any advice on what I could be doing wrong? Thanks

I never want you to do something that's causing you pain! If you're trying to find your head voice, I'd start around G4 or A4 (use a virtual keyboard or chromatic tuner to help you find that pitch) and make an "owl hoot
or "cuckoo clock" sound. Good luck!

Thanks! Is there such a sound as a male soprano?
