Hi Camille,
I'm watching the livestreamVocal Strain Vocal Pain, and Vocal Health | 30 Day Singer on the 30 day singer Channel.
Quick note before I continue, these live streams are very useful please keep it up!
On around 7:19 and continuing, you talked about a way to find what is your tension and how to fix it. What is confusing though is that I don't exactly know if I'm doing it wrong or right because sometimes I feel like singing you move certain muscles intentionly. So for example, larynx movement or making my larynx stay down won't be considered tension right? Same for keeping my vocal folds together and apart right? Thank you again!

Thanks, Aaron! The thing is: there's no such thing as "tension-free" singing. We are always using some kind of effort to sing. The question is: are we tensing muscles that aren't involved in singing? Or are we squeezing muscles that we want to relax? If you feel no pain and you have a sense of freedom when singing, you're on the right track!

Ok, got it. So pretty much tension is when we feel tension at muscles and that they are involuntarily getting tense right?
