Choosing instructor based on Vocal Range

So I've been going through Camille's course and I've been enjoying it. However, I've just reached Day 8 where we are working with the National Anthem and I have found that the key is both too high in the original octave, and too low if I lower the octave.

I should have asked this earlier, but should I have gone with a particular instructor based on my vocal range? Or is there a way to adapt the lessons to fit my vocal range more appropriately? I should note that if I lower the octave, I hit most of the notes, it's just the lowest notes I have difficulties with. Is that just one of the areas of "weakness" I have and it's fine?

Hi, Vof! Since the Star Spangled Banner is such a well-known song, you'll be able to find a karaoke track in any key on YouTube. You're welcome to check out the other instructors and see if their ranges match yours! But if you'd like to stick with my course, I'd recommend trying out a few different keys and using a track in your preferred key rather than singing with me.
