Hi! I was wondering how you're able to breath through the lip trill up to three times. This exercise is the most difficult for me to do. I am still trying to learn breath support but I feel unsure how to get things to go that far. I don't want to mess up my vocal cords with improper breath technique. Also should there be any pushing when exhaling? It feels a bit difficult to target the lower abdominal muscles to support and I feel as though I am beginning to over complicate things in my mind while trying to do this.

Stamina and breath control for that length of time can be a longer term goal that you work towards - no rush in getting there today! I wouldn't describe the sensation as pushing, but most singers feel either a gentle "flex" outward or a gentle "crunch" inward as they engage their abdominal muscles.
