I'm able to do exercises in my upper range but I'm having trouble singing in my lower range. I think I lose compression. I can't find anything to lean on so to speak. It sounds awful. What can I do to work on it?

For low range compression, try:
1. Brighter vowels like A as in CAT or EE as in BEE
2. Vocal fry
3. Semi-closed sounds like straw singing or a consonant like NN or MM
