Another small question, how am I supposed to record my song technically.
Because it's an original song so I also play the track so what comes first?
And when to sing the harmonys?
thank you so much for all your help!!!!!!!!!!!!

you can record each in its own track, like a multi track recording in your DAW or recording software such as audacity.
usually the background track would go first, on which you would add vocals, after the vocals, you can add extra bit of vocals here and there like harmonics/melody
while recording you can use audio feedback from mic connected to your headset, this would help to sing on that scale/pitch, it would also help you to know how it is coming out. -

Great advice, Abdul! I do the same: instrumental first; listen to instrumental in headphones while recording lead vocal; then record harmony parts while listening to instrumental + lead in headphones!
