Hi Camille,
A couple of things here. . I know the iphone is not a great recording device to go by to see how one really sounds. Do you have any suggestions on a better recording setup? Also I'm a little pitchy. What are some good lessons to possible fix this issue. Your program has really helped me out. Sounding better everyday.
Thanks,
Brian.

So glad to hear you're seeing improvement, Brian!
First, I'd decide if you want to invest in an audio interface or not - look up budget USB mics if not! And if you do want an interface (to plug in other instruments like keyboard or guitar), then options are greater. Here's a good thread with suggestions for budget studio mics: https://www.reddit.com/r/WeAreTheMusicMakers/comments/s7ypt8/best_budget_studio_vocal_mic/.
I personally have used and enjoyed the Blue Yeti USB mic and the MXL 990 condenser mic (not USB) starting out!
You can download Audacity recording software for free, or play around with GarageBand if you're an Apple user.
If you don't want to go down that road, the iPhone really isn't bad, though! Just make sure you're setting it up far enough away from your mouth that it's not peaking/distorting. And make sure your music (if you're singing with something) is low enough that you can hear your voice clearly.
