Hi, Ethan! Yes, I see no reason your bedroom would lose functionality with acoustical treatment. Before investing that amount of money, I'd consider using what you have on hand! If I'm recording from home, I'll often set up in front of an open closet (with lots of clothes behind me), using my shield around the mic itself. I've also seen boxes like this which are very inexpensive (less than $30) and may be worth trying first: https://www.amazon.com/Recording-Microphone-Isolation-Absorbing-Mountable/dp/B0C7V95DF4?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A27R5WA55CKY3H. I don't own this and haven't tried it, but it looks like a good option!
