Hi, Tyron! Around D4/Eb4, the male voice has to transition to a mix rather than pure chest voice (which gets shouty and strained if we carry it up too high). See below for some resources on mixed voice!
In that middle range just above C4, try using a tall + narrow mouth position to encourage more mix (head resonance along with chest); this will relieve some pressure and help you avoid the unstable "shouty" pulled-chest voice sound.
