Hello!
I really want to know how to increase my vocal range. I've seen some youtube videos on this but none of this actually helped...Are there any warmups or things I have to do? My range is limited. I always strain or sing falsetto on the high notes. I checked out the tutorial on removing vocal strain, but I couldn't sing the high notes. I can't sing high or low notes. Please help. Thanks!

Hi, Sarah! Here are some tips for low range extension:
- Think UP, with a light + lifted tone to prevent excess tension on the larynx
- Explore that range with an SOVT: lip trill, hum, or singing through a straw
- Use narrow vowels like OO and EE (and open gradually if you’re able)
- Touch those notes in your warmup every day, but don’t worry about staying there long
And as for high range extension, it sounds like you want to sing high in chest or mixed voice, rather than head voice (falsetto). That's a big topic, so I'm including two live lessons that should help!
