Hello :)
For the beginner's course day 6 breathing module with Camille, when we are asked to breathe gently, down and out feeling, by "down" is that referring to how the abdomen rises and falls down or down in the direction from our diaphragm to the hips?
I also really liked how the videos are recorded with very clear sound. I was also thinking of recording my progress but I find that just recording on the phone doesn't really sound like what I hear and doesn't capture the more subtle sound effects like resonance etc. Can I ask what microphone or recording equipment your using?
Thanks :)

Hi, Kerr!
Down in the direction from your diaphragm to your hips - belly naturally expands (out) when you inhale, and on the exhale, we gently engage out and down to avoid the belly collapsing or squeezing up and in. As long as your belly is moving instead of your chest when you breathe, that's a good start!
We use a Shure KSM32 and Cubase. But unless you already have an interface, I'd recommend looking into USB mics! Here's a good list for you to look through: https://www.wirerealm.com/guides/top-10-best-usb-microphones.
