Do you think that vocal cooldowns should be a part of our vocal routine, or should they only be used
on certain occasions? And what type of vocal cooldowns would you recommend?
Thanks. -

On a typical today, I'll end with a high to low lip trill slide. After a performance where my voice is tired, I'll spend up to 5 minutes on my drive home cooling down with something like this routine!

My voice teacher recommends SOVT exercises for warming/cooling down, and my favorite is blowing bubbles through a straw in a glass of water. It helps relax the larynx and vocal folds :)

Absolutely. Bubble phonation and regular straw phonation are fantastic!
