Hey! I have allergies right now and I honestly get them quite a bit, and they cause sore throats. But I don't want to take rest days that often. What are some excersies you recommend that will keep my singing voice active and in shape without irritating and prolonging my recovery?

Hi Jamie,
Unfortunately, the only thing I can safely recommend when you're feeling a sore throat is vocal rest. If you're not feeling pain but still feeling "off", semi-closed exercises (called SOVT's) are gentle, help your vocal folds come together efficiently, and help take down swelling. See below!
