Camille...I'd love to learn to sing softly (quietly). I've been used to singing to the back of the room without a PA system, so I've always gone with the big, loud voice. My range is better too when I'm pushing air. Is there a tutorial or tips for getting the knack of being able to sing in an intimate setting where you don't need to belt or project to the back of the room?

Great question! I don't have a tutorial specific to that (yet), but here's a lesson on dynamics:

Additionally, I'd practice singing in head voice (or a head-dominant mix) throughout your range. An easy way to do that is to sing on narrow vowels like OO and EE, which naturally help your voice lighten and "thin"!
