Hello there- I have always loved to sing and have sung in choirs off and on over the years. I also like doing karaoke every now and then, when I can overcome the nerves. However I would like some feedback as to what is best for me to sing. I usually just sing songs I llike-usually country or showtunes.
I am planning on doing "I Dreamed a Dream" on our cruise in July. But I want to be sure I sound good enough! So my question is should I do the posted lessons to strengthen my mixed and chest voice, or should I have a private lesson to work on this song/ help me find a better one? I am new to this site and I am enjoying the great information and lessons.I appreciate any and all advice. Thank you so much!

Thank you, Laura! Beautiful song choice. I'll post some lessons & links I think you'll find helpful for song work (and that song in particular). If you're not feeling confident after working through and would like a private lesson for feedback, you're always welcome to book one!

Hi this is Esther, and I am interested in learning alto, and need help with staying in tune.
When I am alone, my voice goes to soprano, and can't figure out how to stay on the alto line all by myself, when I am by an alto I am fine.
Please can you help?
