Humidifiers for singing

I wanted to get your thoughts on using a humidifier for singing. First, if you use a humidifier, would you use it only in the room that you sing in, or would you also use it in other rooms where you do not sing (that is, use it as much as possible)?

And do you or have you used one? If so, was it helpful?

And what humidifier would you recommend?
