Hi .. I will be doing an audition very soon and I haven't been preparing for it for too long because I failed the first one and it was hard for me to recover but I decided that I wont give up and hopefully I will make it this time..
anyway.....
recommend me a song please, I'm a female alto and I'm auditioning to become a singer under this record company that I really want to be in and I want a pop or R&B style song with highnotes or something that will impress them ... hope u can help me 💔🙏
in my first audition I did when I look at you by miley... it was good even my friends and family liked it but I didn't get a call back .. so... I really shouldn't have had high hopes because it just broke me ..

I'm so sorry to hear that, Manar! It's very painful to not get something you've auditioned for. Unfortunately, rejection is part of any endeavor in the performing arts, solely based on the fact that many people are auditioning for a limited number of opportunities! I encourage you to view the audition as your "job" and the result as something totally separate. There are too many factors outside your control! All you can do is prepare well and make yourself proud - regardless of the result.
I'm thinking something by Rihanna might be good: perhaps "Umbrella" or "Stay"? Both songs have a few high notes, but nothing too challenging. You can look up songs within a specific range and genre at https://singingcarrots.com/. Best of luck!
