What should I call it and where do I find my web address for UTube.

Hi Camille,
I tried to upload a video where I sang over for accompaniment a Joni Mitchell song " Little Green". UTube sent me a strange email about not being able to monetize it. I don't care about making money. I just want you to be able to see it.
i also chose private instead of unlisted and want to change it so you people can see it. But UTube isn't giving me that choice. I uploaded another video of me singing phrases with " Moon River" with my guitar but UTube didn't send me the address with that one either.
I am totally confused. I tried sending one video as attachment to my husband but it was too big to be an attachment so I see why you people use UTube. Is there someone who can help me with this, at 30 day? Should I start over from the very beginning? But how do I get there. There are videos of how to upload to UTube, but not how to change things. My videos are uploaded. What should I do? Someone must have run into these problems before.Videos are huge these days. Is there a way I can make it smaller without ruining it? Or can I avoid UTube?
Let me know
Thanks,
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,
I'm sorry you're having trouble with YouTube! The email regarding monetization was automatically sent due to you using a copyrighted song (I assume), but you can disregard that since you're not monetizing.
I found an article to help you change a video from private to unlisted: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/157177?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop. I hope that helps!

Thanks for your quick reply. I don't want to buy studio; it's too expensive, but I finally got my unlisted status by taking off my videos and reloaded them a couple of time. I got the web address by clicking share. That sent me to a website that had the address. It's easy once you know it.
Thanks for your help.

Great, I'm glad you sorted it out! Technology is so frustrating at times - I've been there!
