I can't listen and sing a specific note, i saw people generally calls it pitch matching. I saw some suggestion to use a tuner and try to match the pitch, won't I hurt my voice maybe by randomly trying to sing a note ?
Please suggest some ways to do that ? If there is any good android app that can teach me and give me continuous feedback, that'd be awesome ?

Rather than choosing a random note that may be outside of your comfortable range, find your approximate range first! SingSharp (linked below) has that function; you can also use the tool on http://www.myvocalrange.com/.
A safe, easy range for any male singer (regardless of whether they're a tenor or bari/bass), is C3-G3. Start there if you're unsure.
