Hi everyone,
I have been learning how to play guitar for the last seven months via Guitar Tricks and recently picked up the ukulele as well. I don't know anything about singing and it shows! I have however, been singing with most of my songs anyway. I record videos for my You Tube channel that I keep to document my progress. It has been fun! I would like to think that I've at least gotten slightly better over time but I really want actual lessons on singing. I am here for at least the next year so I'm looking forward to learning all the in's and out's.
This site will be very helpful to me and keep me busy especially since I may be having surgery on my left/fretting hand/wrist/arm in the near future. I will actually find out tomorrow. So I'll be working on a ton of other stuff like music theory and song writiting, which I also have a great interest in.
I discovered I am a Contralto singer. I have made a list of contralto singers I researched and now I keep that as a reference in my singing journal (a place to document my progress and various notes).
Anyway, let the journey begin!
